Operations & Maintenance (O&M) has evolved from the days of being an add-on to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts and has charted its own course to become a critical component in the solar energy value chain.  As the focus of EPC Contractors is to build new plants, O&M is best taken care by professional O&M contractors who are either independent or sub contractors of the EPC contractors/ Installers.
